You can open a safe deposit box at our Leesburg, Greenfield, Lynchburg, Hillsboro, Ripley, Georgetown and Peebles offices. Box size and availability may vary at each location.
We offer many types of Business Checking accounts as well as a Business Savings accounts, Business Money Market accounts, and Business Certificate of Deposits. Additionally, we offer Business credit cards, debit cards, credit card processing services and ACH origination services for businesses.
Businesses must apply and qualify for credit card, credit card processing services and ACH origination services.
Yes, if you refer someone to us to open a checking account you will receive a gift from us. The account opener also receives a gift.

If you have lost or stolen checks, please report this to us as soon as possible by contacting us at 888-898-9839 so we can process a stop payment for the check(s). You may also log into your online banking account and navigate to Banking Services - Stop Payment. Stop payment fees apply.

To set up a recurring payment for a loan with SHCB from a deposit account with SHCB, log in to your online banking account and select the Transfers button. During the setup, select "Recurring" from the Schedule dropdown.
To set up a recurring payment for a loan with SHCB from a deposit account with another financial institution (external account), log in to your online banking account and select the Transfers button, then select Transfer Accounts - Add Account. Proper verification must be completed before a transfer can be made from an external account.

To set up direct deposit, you will need to provide our bank routing number (242272285) and your account number to the depositing company/ organization (i.e. your employer).

To claim an inactive (dormant) account, at least one customer initiated transaction must be completed during each 12 month period. If a transaction has not been completed, the account owner may also sign a bank generated form acknowledging ownership of the account.
A Power of Attorney gives a designated person legal authority to act on behalf of another person (the principal) while the principal is alive. It allows for a trusted individual to manage the principal's affairs if they are unable to do so. The Power of Attorney grants authority during the lifetime of the principal and ends when the principal passes away.
A POD designation allows the account holder to name a beneficiary who will inherit the account upon their death. This allows for a smooth transfer of assets. The account holder retains full control of the account while they are alive. The named POD beneficiary has no rights to the account while the account holder is alive. Upon the account holder’s death, the funds are transferred to the beneficiary.

A joint account with right of survivorship automatically entitles the surviving account owner to inherit the deceased owner's share of the account. The account continues to operate as before with the surviving owner having full access and control of the account. To change or reset your debit card PIN you may visit any of our locations or call us at 888-898-9839. The phone number for the automated card maintenance service will then be provided to you.

To reset your user ID or password, you can utilize the "Forgot User ID" or "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You may also contact any of our locations for assistance with a password reset or our 24/7 online/mobile banking support line at 866-987-8312.
We currently offer Apple, Google and Samsung digital wallet services.
To deposit checks with your mobile device, log in to your online banking account from your mobile device and select the Deposit a Check icon.

To enable biometric login (Face ID or Fingerprint), log in to your online banking account from your mobile device and navigate to Banking Services - Manage Biometrics - Biometrics Enrollment.
To sign up for paperless statements, log in to your online banking account and navigate to Banking Services - eDocuments. You may enroll for different types of electronic/paperless statements such as deposit statements, deposit notices, loan bills and tax documents.
We do not currently charge for any of our online, mobile or bill payment services.
